Paige Northwood, ‘stained heart’, 2020

Paige Northwood, ‘stained heart’, 2020

Jerico Contemporary is delighted to present our fourth solo show with Australian artist Paige Northwood, Love and Fear. This latest body of work draws on the artist’s previous series Company that explores themes of life, death and rebirth along with the notions and learnings that come with living remotely.

Delving into the artist’s internal felt frequencies of love and fear in relation to the current global climate, these six new paintings see Northwood further investigate the visceral connection between nature, place and the body.

ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS | ‘INTIMACY’

Jerico Contemporary
is delighted to announce that for the first time in the Gallery’s history we are opening submissions beyond our artist stable and are accepting artwork submissions for our upcoming group exhibition, Intimacy, showing July 2020.

Gallery Directory Jerico Tracy believes art has a crucial role to play in bringing the community together during this time of isolation. Intimacy, will consider the intricacies of human bonds and consider our entangled, intimate relations with beings and through objects.

Intimacy is a group exhibition that will feature the successful submissions alongside works by our current stable of artists. The exhibition will be hung in the Gallery and documented as a part of our 2020 schedule. We strongly encourage artists of all backgrounds to apply.
