JAMIE PRIESZ ‘TORN IN BLOOM’
8TH OF OCTOBER - 31ST OCTOBER 2020
Jamie Preisz ‘Torn In Bloom’ sees the artist’s love for abstraction and realism collide. In a conscious return to portraiture, the artist revisits the human form juxtaposed with collected objects and ephemera explored in his previous still-life works. Long inspired by the old masters while also striving to pursue something challenging and contemporary, Preisz draws on references from both past and present to uncover new non-linear narratives.
